Communist Daughter makes their long-awaited Cedar debut, aided and abetted by Kevin Bowe + The Okemah Prophets. Communist Daughter have been making waves nationally with their album Something Wicked This Way Comes and follow-up EP Lions and Lambs, diving deep into the murky waters of addiction and recovery. This year, they have been working on their follow-up album, expected to be released in the fall, with Kevin as producer, so it is a reasonable prediction that you'll get to hear plenty of material from the new album at tonight's show.
The Cedar is an all ages venue. Students with ID, seniors over 65, and children under 12 may purchase tickets at a discount at the door.
