Emily Haines makes it personal
As the front-woman for the band Metric, she is proud to release her debut solo project, "Knives Don't Have Your Back."
This album was written and recorded over the past four years in Los Angeles, Montreal, Toronto, and New York. The amazing thing about this CD is the fact that each song on the album holds a personal story from Haines' life over the past decade.
Emily Haines stopped by The Current studios for a live performance and conversation with Tony Lopez before her scheduled appearance at The Varsity Theatre.
Songs performed: "The Last Page," "Reading In Bed," and "Expecting To Fly (Neil Young cover)"
