Electrelane have been together for a decade, but Verity Susman says the quartet hasn't settled into a comfortable pattern. They still find making music challenging.
According to Susman, they kept working on songs for their latest album that didn't come naturally to them rather than taking the easier route of tossing them out and settling on the simpler songs.
They played a few of these new songs in The Current studio. Mary Lucia talked with them about Bjork's name and whether they like recording or performing live better.
Songs performed: "Bells," "In Berlin," and "To the East."
