Singer, playwright, director and songwriter Oren Lavie has grown up all over the world, carrying influences from each of his seemingly native lands into his music.
"Opposite Side of the Sea," was originally released in Europe in 2006 after he moved to Berlin from New York, miles from his native Israel. Gaining popularity from both the musical compositions and the videos he directed to accompany it, Lavie's status has been on the rise in the states since the CD's release in early 2009.
Songs performed: "Ruby Rises," "Her Morning Elegance," and "Rainbows in Black and White."
