"That Kind of Man," The Heavy's first single from their 2007 debut album "Great Vengeance and Furious Fire" was an instant hit around The Current. So much so that we invited the band to play The Current's stage at the 2008 South By Southwest Musical Festival.

In October 2009 their second album, "The House That Dirt Built" was released and a song from that album, "How You Like Me Now?" has received some massive exposure, including being used in a car commercial that first aired during the 2010 Super Bowl.
