The early era of Fleetwood Mac is also known as the "Peter Green era." Fleetwood Mac started as a blues rock band before it evolved to the classic pop lineup. The players on this compilation release include Peter Green, Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Jeremy Spencer and Danny Kirwen. The blues instrumental "Albatross" would influence a number of other songs including The Beatles "Sun King."
