Daft Punk gets UN-lucky...again! As Alt-J vacated the top spot last week, #1 was there for the taking, but The National stole it, spurred by fans eyeing tickets to their big show at Roy Wilkins Auditorium August 6. So Daft Punk are inducted to the Chart Show Hall of Fame for the very first time. Dessa is inducted for the fourth time - you can catch her tour on the West Coast right now.

Savages will be making their local debut this Sunday at a sold out Triple Rock show and they've promised to do a session for us on Monday - we'll broadcast their performance at 7 p.m. that evening.

Three new entries this week: Tame Impala's third song off Lonerism makes it on the chart; Bon Iver's Justin Vernon back with Volcano Choir who'll wrap up their short tour way ahead of the release of their new album Repave at First Avenue on October 18. Neko Case also debuts, but we've lost Janelle Monae after five weeks and Eels after seven.
