NONONO
NONONO end their run with a bang as they're added to the Chart Show Hall of Fame.
Per Kristiansen

When NONONO were asked what album they bought first, the answers give you an idea of where their sound comes from: The Cure, Martha Wainwright and Wu Tang! On Friday, Dec. 13, they play at The Rave Eagles Club in Milwaukee. It's one of their first U.S. dates, but I'm sure there will be more now they are inducted into the Chart Show Hall of Fame ending with a bang back at the top!

Sydney, Australia's The Preatures will surely come back to play more shows here, too, as they seem to have caught fire as the biggest climber. The video for another of their songs "Manic Baby" might catch fire too in the continuing debate about the role of sexy dancing in female-fronted videos fueled by Lily Allen's new single, "Hard Out Here".

Interesting to note that this week there is gender parity on our chart! This is helped by two of the new entries: Sharon Jones, who announced a huge tour this week stopping in the State Theater on April 9, with tickets going on sale Saturday, Nov. 16, at noon; and Lucius, who recently stopped by our studios and obviously enjoyed the experience because they've included it in a new video of their tour progress. Don't miss the pre-sale for their next show in town at The Cedar on Feb. 20!

The final new entry is Frank Turner, who also stopped by The Current studios to perform a live session recently and told Mary Lucia that he has a Hold Steady tattoo in a rather personal part of his body?!?

Mason Jennings did an in-studio for us this week, too. His new album came out this past Tuesday. I will be hosting a Theft of the Dial with him on Thursday, Dec. 5, just before his two shows at First Avenue that weekend. And on a side note, if you didn't hear the Yoko Ono interview last night, check it out!!
