Video Premiere: Spoon - "Do You"

by Mary Lucia

The official video for Spoon's new song "Do You" from They Want My Soul, available Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2014. (Spoon)

Having just stood a mere feet from my favorite band performing at Rock the Garden this past week was a thrill beyond what I can explain.

But NEW SPOON tunes? Forget it! We crazed fans have been waiting for a long time to hear the new jams. I just Played "Do You" From They Want My Soul for the first time on air just now. I am not disappointed.

It's got everything you love about Spoon: choppy hooks, whoo-oohs — and the litmus of a good tune — I immediately want to hear it again (and again) after the first listen.

Bring on that new record, boys. We're starving!

They Want My Soul is out August 5, 2014 on Loma Vista.
