9:30 Coffee Break: Happy Radio Day
August 20, 2014
Happy National Radio Day! National Radio Day celebrates a great invention and communications medium. The invention of the radio dates back to the late 1800s. The radio somewhat evolved from the telegraph and the telephone, with wireless telegraph directly contributing to its invention.
Help us celebrate National Radio Day. What songs should we play? Let us know and we'll play some for the 9:30 Coffee Break.
Songs Played:
Ramones - "Do You Remember Rock 'n Roll Radio"
Soul Coughing - "Screenwriter's Blues"
The Clash - "This Is Radio Clash"
Wall of Voodoo - "Mexican Radio"
LL Cool J - "I Can't Live Without My Radio"
