Every Monday at 10 p.m., The Current's Music Director David Safar guides you through an hour of music discovery. From unsigned bands to established artists, he introduces listeners to new music they need to know about.

Tonight on New Hot, host David Safar highlights three rising acts: Brooklyn's Cultfever, classically trained vocalist Niia Bertino and English grime pioneer Wiley.

David wants to know: whose tunes are working for ya? What act should The Current get behind? This is where you come in.

Have a listen to the three singles then rate each tune by giving it either a thumps up or a thumbs down using the form below. On Tuesday, we'll share the top rated track as voted by listeners of The Current.

Cultfever, "Gloria" off Cultfever

Being from Brooklyn once created the cachet needed to get noticed in the ocean of all things categorized as "indie." Cultfever have been honing their craft in the NYC music scene and make it sound easy on their new single "Gloria" off their debut full-length.

Niia, "Body" off Generation Blue EP

As a classically trained musician, Niia Bertino pays attention to the space between the notes. Her debut album Generation Blue artfully masks her jazz influences with soulful pop hooks.

Wiley - "On a Level" off Snakes and Ladders

England's grime genre seemed like it could have gone mainstream in America during the first decade of the new millennium. Despite the success of Dizzy Rascal, English grime pioneer Wiley didn't break the airwaves. He helped shape the genre and hasn't slowed down. "On a Level" is the latest single off his 10th studio album.
