The dynamic duo that is Lizzo and Caroline Smith are back on top this week and Caroline is celebrating with a new video for the title track off her last year's Half About Being a Woman. She shows some admirable acting chops in the video — when are this pair going to get their own TV show?! Minneapolis' Dan Huiting, who has worked with a slew of other acts including Bon Iver, Low and Father John Misty, produced the video.

Robert Plant jumps to #2 this week as rumors fly that he and Richard Brandson turned down $800 million for a Led Zeppelin reunion tour. I like that Plant has discovered a new way to contribute to our musical heritage. In a recent Telegraph interview he cited his new bandmates, the Sensational Space Shifters, as a huge influence. Telehraph's Neil McCormick writes, "He [Plant] says that eclectic, inventive, world-music-influenced guitarist Justin Adams 'saved my life, musically. His contribution, as a positive force in my time, has been second to none.' And it is notable that a crucial part of Adams's appeal to Plant is that 'he doesn't think the guitar begins and ends with Clapton, Beck and Page.'"

Lucinda Williams is the highest new entry this week debuting at #6. There are still tickets available for her two shows at First Avenue on Saturday, Nov. 29 and Sunday, Nov. 30. According to a recent show review from The Kansas City Star, Lucinda played tunes spanning her entire career and dropped an unexpected cover into the set, Jimi Hendrix's "Angel," which she dedicated to Neil Young's longtime bassist Rick Rosas who died last week.

Tom Petty is back on the Chart, too. Obviously he's not a forgotten man as his recent number one album Hypnotic Eye with the Heartbreakers attests. They've already finished their U.S. tour but the Heartbreakers' Mike Campbell just announced his annual benefit show with Jonathan Wilson, a musician/producer who has worked with a ton of the Los Angeles acts that The Current plays.

Hozier debuts another hit "Jackie and Wilson" at #20 this week. On Sunday he lost the vote at MTV's Europe Music Awards for "Song with a Message." He came fourth behind Beyonce, Meghan Trainor and Alicia Keys.

The Rural Alberta Advantage are the highest climbers this week. In a lovely in-studio session at The Current, Nils, Amy and Paul told us the story behind their band name and how they discovered that they're terrible actors, but they wouldn't reveal what their day jobs are!
