Movie Maven Stephanie Curtis joins Steve Seel and Jill Riley to talk about a new romantic comedy starring Lily Collins and Sam Clafin. Plus, as Valentine's Day approaches, Steve, Jill and Stephanie discuss romantic films in general.

Love, Rosie is about a man and woman who are best friends since childhood, and the big question is, "Will they ever find true love?"

Stephanie says the premise of Love, Rosie is promising, but ultimately the film didn't quite work for her. "As I watched the film, I found myself not really caring whether or not they got together," Stephanie says. "They're just nice, normal people, but it's not enough to keep you interested just to have two people with bad timing."

Steve, Jill and Stephanie then discuss what makes a good romantic comedy, and they talk about the recent shortage of that type of output.

Love, Rosie is rated R and is playing at the AMC Eden Prairie Mall 18.

MPR's Movie Maven, Stephanie Curtis, joins The Current's Morning Show to talk about films every Friday at 8:30 a.m.
