9:30 Coffee Break: 'Leave' Songs
by Jill Riley and Sean McPherson

Minnesota lawmakers are considering a bill that would require companies like Uber and Lyft to carry a $1.5 million insurance policy for drivers whenever they are logged on, not just when they are actively transporting passengers. If the bill becomes a state law, Uber says it will leave Minnesota.
And that got us thinking about songs with a "leaving" theme. Some tunes contemplate the prospect of leaving; some songs are about the immediate act or moment of leaving; and others look back on a time of having left something or someone.
Basically, there are a whole bunch of songs about leaving.
So for today's 9:30 Coffee Break, what songs that mention "leave" or describe "leaving" would you like to hear? Tell us your requests.
Songs Played
DeVotchKa - "We're Leaving"
