A guy can get a little intimidated when he meets a legend … like Tom Paxton.

Tom was at the heart of the folk-music revival of the 1960s, playing alongside Pete Seeger, Bob Dylan and Dave Van Ronk. He's written hundreds of songs, including "Ramblin' Boy", "The Last Thing On My Mind" and "The Marvelous Toy". Tom's career spans more than five decades; he's even received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.

But the minute I shook Tom's hand, I felt comfortable. A magic touch? Indeed.

Tom has new album called Redemption Road. He stopped by the studio with his pal Robin Bullock to sing a few songs on Radio Heartland.

Songs Performed

"Susie Most of All"
"Battle of the Sexes"
"Central Square"
All songs off Tom Paxton's 2015 album, Redemption Road, out now on Pax Records.
