Today's Coffee Break suggestion comes from Juanita Moose, who listens to The Current's Morning Show from her home in New Jersey.

Juanita recently spotted an amusing poster that asked, "How were you born?", accompanied by a number of musical references.

It just so happens there are a lot of songs about being born a certain way, whether it's an innate feeling ("born to …") or a circumstance ("born in …", "born under …", "born on …"). Whatever way you slice it, many tunes reference something about the singer's birth.

So for today's 9:30 Coffee Break, what songs do you want to hear that in some way mention "born" or being born? Send us your requests, and thanks again to Juanita for her suggestion!

Songs Played

Bruce Springsteen - "Born to Run"
Lana Del Rey - "Born to Die"
Steppenwolf - "Born to be Wild"
The Police - "Born in the 50s"
Talking Heads - "Born Under Punches (The Heat Goes On)"
Ray Charles - "Born To Lose"
