Every Tuesday at 7:30am Wits host John Moe stops into the Morning Show to share the latest news in Technology.

This week, John Moe chatted with The Morning Show's Jill Riley and Sean McPherson (in for Steve Seel) about a 1977 documentary about the making of Star Wars that has surfaced on YouTube in its entirety. John also shares a story about a bot in Switzerland that got arrested on drugs charges.

1. The making of Star Wars, the first one
Amid all the excitement surrounding the trailer for the forthcoming Star Wars film, there is a documentary about the making of the very first Star Wars that has surfaced online. It originally aired on television in 1977. "It's really fascinating," John says. "What really stands out is they go through a lot of the special effects, and how sleight-of-hand they are, how low-tech these special effects are."

John says it's worth watching the full 48 minutes. "The absolute highlight," he says, "is a sweet, Star Wars disco-dance sequence."

2. Bot arrested for buying Ecstasy on the Internet
At an art installation in Switzerland, a bot was programmed to buy items on the "deep Internet" using bitcoins. When the bot purchased Ecstasy online, the police came in and temporarily shut down the installation. The pills were ultimately destroyed by the authorities, and the exhibit was allowed to continue.
