Matt and Kim make it to the top for the very first time as their fans try to get into their sold out show at Mill City Nights on May 22. The Rock the Garden alumni are also inducted to the Chart Show Hall of Fame for the third time!

Submit your Chart Show ballot this week for a chance to win tickets to Alabama Shakes and Father John Misty's sold out show at Hall's Island on Saturday, May 30!

Florence and the Machine are up to #2 and looks set to be inducted next week, too. She received the "Best Live Improvement" award from Rolling Stone for her Coachella set and wowed the Saturday Night Live audience last weekend, despite having to stay seated because of the broken foot she sustained at the festival in April.

It seems Hot Chip will soon be inducted to our Hall of Fame next week, the same week their Why Make Sense album releases. As has become the custom, you can stream it this week, with links to all the lyrics!

The Tallest Man on Earth's album, A Dark Bird Is Home, is out this week and it has a local connection as Mike Noyce of Bon Iver plays on it. Appropriately the Tallest Man on Earth will play the Justin Vernon-curated Eaux Claires Music and Arts Festival this summer.

My Morning Jacket are up to #11 this week as The Waterfall releases. In his Album of the Week review program director Jim McGuinn says, "My Morning Jacket are briefly threatening to ascend into a new sphere."

Noel Gallagher has been getting tons of mainstream press over here this year and continues to emit a seemingly constant stream of amazing quotes. Rolling Stone were so impressed by the interview Noel recently gave them that they awarded him a trophy for "Best Rock Interview" and the accompanying video suggests that he was extremely touched by the presentation!

This week's only new entry is Jamie xx. The drummer from the xx has said that his new solo album out June 2 has informed the band's new album that they have been making for the past year in Texas and Iceland. We might have to wait a while for that, though, as Jamie has a massive tour planned through October including the Pitchfork, Bonnaroo and Glastonbury festivals.
