As David Letterman would say, tonight is "an historic night of television" as he concludes his 33-year career as a late-night talk show host. The guests for tonight's program remain tightly under wraps, but millions are expected to tune in as David Letterman signs off for the last time. Letterman's national presence on late-night television began on NBC in 1982, then shifted to his current slot on CBS in 1993 — comprising more than 6,000 episodes.

Although tonight's guests are unknown, one thing that is certain is that David Letterman has welcomed countless musical guests to his stage over the years, including an impressive roster of Minnesota musicians.

So for today's 9:30 Coffee Break, what songs do you want to hear by Minnesota acts who have appeared on David Letterman's show? Send us your requests.
