9:30 Coffee Break: Songs for the Saints
by Jill Riley and Sean McPherson
May 21, 2015
Tonight at 7:05, the St. Paul Saints play the inaugural home opener at their new stadium, CHS Field, in downtown St. Paul. The Saints open their season with a four-game home stand versus the Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks. The new ballpark — set in St. Paul's Lowertown district — seats 7,200 people.
After 9 a.m. today, the Saints' assistant general manager, Scott Bush, will drop by to talk to Jill and Sean about tonight's sold-out home opener.
In the meantime, let's root, root, root for the home team by throwing out some songs that either deliberately or inadvertently name-check the Saints.
So for today's 9:30 Coffee Break, what songs do you want to hear that have "saint" or "saints" in the title or lyrics? Send us your requests.
