On Friday, Aug. 14, record producer Bob Johnston passed away in Nashville, Tenn., at age 83.

After working as a producer and arranger at a handful of smaller studios, Johnston moved to Columbia Records in New York in the 1960s, where he began producing a string of notable and highly influential albums, including works by Johnny Cash, Simon & Garfunkel, and Bob Dylan. Johnston later worked as an independent producer with a number of artists and labels; a select discography is listed on Bob Johnston's Wikipedia page.

So for today's 9:30 Coffee Break, let's remember one of the studio greats. What songs produced by Bob Johnston do you want to hear? Send us your requests.
