Kurt Vile holds on to the top spot for the second week in a row, third week in all. He just kicked off a European tour: Paris tomorrow and Amsterdam for Halloween – that would be fun! If you missed his show last week at Mill City Nights, City Pages posted a photo gallery.

Submit your Chart Show ballot this week for a chance to win tickets to the Arcs at First Avenue on Tuesday, Dec. 1!

Tame Impala are inducted to the Hall of Fame for the fourth time, pushing them into the top 30 on the All-Time Hall of Fame chart. As Kevin Parker writes and records the albums on his own, it gives the rest of the band members time for other projects. Multi-instrumentalist Jay Watson has two side-projects, Pond and now GUM.

Wilco are inducted for the second time with "Random Name Generator," a track from their Star Wars album that they released as a surprise this summer. They sometimes give fans prior notice sometimes, though, as they just announced a European tour for ... October 2016?!?

Ben Folds is also inducted for the second time, the last time being with the reunited Ben Folds Five back in 2012. You can still enter for a chance to win passes to a private, intimate Ben Folds show at the Turf club in November, hosted by his doppleganger Bill DeVille!

Deerhunter is the highest mover on this week's chart a track off the new album Fading Frontier. Often here at The Current we choose to play more than one song off an album besides the single ("Snakeskin"). In this case, we're also playing "Living My Life," and the legendary 4AD label have premiered video for it.

Local band Bad Bad Hats are still moving up the chart, landing at No.10 this week. They'll be celebrating the dark side with us at the Fitzgerald Theater this Saturday night, Halloween, with a double bill of creepy but fun movies.

Another local act Hippo Campus bounce back on the chart with the title track from their new South EP. They're going on tour with Bad Bad Hats starting Nov. 5 in Madison and are playing a special show for the students at University of Wisconsin – Stout tomorrow. Their show at First Avenue on Nov. 28 has long been sold out.

The Chemical Brothers are back this time with Beck lending vocals to the closing track on their recent release Born in the Echoes. The album was their sixth to go to No.1 in the U.K. and as you might expect they have a snazzy, well-designed website that the Chemmunity uses to keep up with the brothers' shenanigans.

The final new entry is Ryan Adams' take on Taylor Swifts' "Bad Blood." The project of covering her entire album 1989 has definitely gotten his name in front of a few new folks. The video for his version of "Bad Blood" has over 1.5 million views, which is 10 times as many views as any his other videos have!

Have a very safe and peaceful Halloween! (You might still have time to enter our Mega-Halloween Giveaway for tickets to a ton of shows this Saturday!)
