9:30 Coffee Break: Surprise Albums

This week, the Foo Fighters surprise-released their brand new Saint Cecilia EP. Fans can download it for free on the Foo Fighters' website or from iTunes, as well as listen on all streaming platforms.

The Foo Fighters are not the first to release an album as a surprise. As it turns out, there have been a number of great albums that artists have released with no warning. For example, back in 2013, Beyoncé surprised us all when she released a surprise album (complete with music videos) with zero fanfare.

So for today's 9:30 Coffee Break, what songs from surprise albums do you want to hear? Send us your requests.

Songs Played

The Foo Fighters "Saint Cecilia"
Radiohead "Lotus Flower"
U2 "The Miracle (Of Joey Ramone)"
David Bowie "Where are we now?"
Wilco "Random Name Generator"
Beyoncé "Drunk in Love"
