MPR Cube Critic Stephanie Curtis joins Jade and Sean McPherson to talk about "Creed", a new film starring Michael B. Jordan as Adonis Johnson Creed, Apollo Creed's son, with Sylvester Stallone reprising the role of Rocky Balboa.

"It sounds like it could be so horrible but it is a fantastic movie," Stephanie says.

Stephanie describes Creed as a film that anyone would love – not just sports lovers. She says it's not necessarily a sequel to the Rocky films we have seen so far, but rather it's its own story about a son reclaiming his dad's title.

"It's a charming, moving film in the end," Stephanie says. "It's a great Hollywood film."

Creed is rated PG-13 and is playing in theaters all over Minnesota.

MPR's Cube Critics, Stephanie Curtis and Euan Kerr, join The Current's Morning Show to talk about films every Friday at 8:30 a.m.
