Frank Turner leaps to the top this week as hundreds of fans try to get into his #MicroShow at the Turf Club presented by The Current and New Belgium Brewing Co. If you don't win tickets, you can have a nice little road trip to Hinckley to see him! Known for his early days as a punk rocker, Frank still has some punk principles to keep.

Submit your Chart Show ballot this week for a chance to win passes to a private performance by rising U.K. multi-instrumentalist Jack Garratt!

Jason Isbell stays at No.4 this week buoyed by his GRAMMY Award wins and a sold out show Monday at Northrop. He also stopped by to do a session with Bill who'll air it on 'US of A' Sunday Morning and Monday at Noon. Chris Riemenschneider of the Star Tribune enjoyed the show, as did our own digital producer Luke Taylor.

Courtney Barnett was one of the losers on GRAMMY night, beaten controversially by Meaghan Trainor?! But she's back on our chart (No.6) with "Three Packs a Day," a single referencing ramen recorded for a compilation put out by her own Milk Records. She hasn't made the cover of Rolling Stone – yet. I guess the modern equivalent is their podcast.

Cloud Cult are also back at No.12, with another track from The Seeker. The film they made to accompany the album has a co-star Josie Axelson who's still in seventh grade at Central Middle School in Eden Prairie!

More locals are back, too: Hippo Campus return at No.13 and they just announced a big spring tour starting in Fargo, ND on April 26, and ex-local hero Bob Mould has a new album Patch the Sky out March 25 and "Voices in My Head," the first single, is new at No.16. His tour starts in Madison on April 20 and is stopping for two nights at First Avenue April 22 and 23.

Lissie's new at No.19. Her My Wild West is our Album of the Week, the first review by our new guy Brian Oake.

His Purpleness is in the basement position this week, perhaps buoyed by our Aussie posse who were treated to "Piano and a Microphone" shows this weekend before New Zealand is treated to "joyous, life-affirming affairs."

Thanks to everyone who has become a member of Minnesota Public Radio this week. We couldn't do it without you!!
