Cube Critic Euan Kerr joins Jade and Sean McPherson to talk about "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot", starring Tina Fey and Martin Freeman and based on the memoir "The Taliban Shuffle: Strange Days in Afghanistan and Pakistan" by Kim Barker.

"It's very amusing in a very wry and slightly bloody way," Euan says.

The film is centered on Kim Baker (played by Fey) as a war correspondent in Afghanistan and Pakistan during Operation Enduring Freedom who ends up seeing a little more than life than she expected.

"If you enjoy the Tina Fey nerd thing, this is it," Euan said. "It's great fun."

The book is a very darkly humorous portrait of Kim Barker covering the war, and Euan says this movie has "Hollywood-ized" the story. But Euan added with a wink that the movie does prove that Scots make great romantic leads.
