Ben & Jerry's co-founders Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield were arrested on Monday at a protest outside the U.S. Capitol building in Washington, D.C. According to the Associated Press, Ben and Jerry were demonstrating against corporate political spending at a rally organized by Democracy Awakening. They were charged with "unlawful demonstration activity" but were released soon after.

Ben and Jerry have long been civically active, and they have been vocal about issues like climate change, gay rights and genetically modified food labeling. "Sometimes, when something really matters, you have to put your body on the line," the Vermont-based ice cream company said in statement. "You have to take a stand."

Would that be an ice cream stand?

Along with their political activism, Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield make lots of ice cream, and they're known for their creative flavor names.

All this talk about ice cream has whetted our sweet tooth early this morning, and it got us thinking about songs that reference ice cream and other sweets and treats.

So for today's 9:30 Coffee Break, what songs do you want to hear that mention ice cream, tasty confections or other sweet treats? Send us your requests.
