Jack Klatt - Jack's Blues (live on Radio Heartland)

In my first listen to Jack Klatt's new record, I could have sworn I was hearing a modern recording of a collection of Hank Williams and Fats Waller tunes. But upon further investigation, all but one of the songs are originals. Klatt grew up in Minnesota, but fled in his early 20s to find something — something that ended up back home with a guitar case full of songs and a sound that ought to come from a man twice his age … or more.

Jack Klatt's new album, Shadows In The Sunset, is just out and he and his band found time to stop in to the Radio Heartland studio for some songs and a chat.
