The National Spelling Bee preliminaries kick off today, with the finals starting tomorrow and continuing through Thursday.

About 285 kids from across the country will be competing, and word on the street is the words will be more difficult this year as the last two bees have ended in ties.

For today's Coffee Break, what songs do you want to hear that feature spelling in the lyrics?

And thanks to Gary for the idea!

Songs played

The Safety Dance - Men Without Hats
Mannish Boy - Muddy Waters
Saturday Night - Bay City Rollers
Respect - Aretha Franklin
Fire In Cairo - The Cure
Lola - The Kinks
