Coffee Break: Theatrical pop
August 04, 2016
Today kicks off the 2016 Minnesota Fringe Festival - 11 days of over 1,000 performers putting on 168 one-act plays that take over the Twin Cities theater scene. All the shows are chosen by lottery, which makes the Fringe a wonderful, risky and adventurous endeavor to take on as an audience member.
Listen to the audio above to hear an interview with Jeff Larson, executive director of the Fringe, for today's Rock & Roll Lifestyle. To find more information and ticket information, visit the Fringe website.
In honor of the Fringe, what particularly theatrical pop or rock songs do you want to hear for today's 9:30 Coffee Break?
Songs played
The Dream Academy - Life in a Northern Town
Pink Floyd - Goodbye Blue Sky
Bjork - It's Oh So Quiet
Janelle Monae - Cold War
The Beatles - Eleanor Rigby
Spinal Tap - Stonehenge
The Fifth Dimension - Aquarius / Let The Sunshine In
