Wilco surge to the top of the chart with help from fans hoping to win tickets to their big show at Hall's Island on Aug. 20 with Kurt Vile. We'll be giving away more tickets on air all week, so stay tuned!

Submit your Chart Show ballot this week for a chance to win tickets to the Summer Beer Dabbler at CHS Field on Saturday, Aug. 20!

Atmosphere are up nine places as their new album drops this Friday. I'll be reviewing Fishing Blues as The Current's Album of the Week next week, trying to make sense of how they continue to produce such high quality content this far into their careers! Who else — especially in hip hop — has put out more or better albums and toured more consistently in the last 20 years?! New video has premiered for "Pure Evil."

Car Seat Headrest are up 13 places. They head back to the Midwest in a few weeks and make their way to the Twin Cities for a gig at the Cedar Cultural Center on Sept. 28.

The Tallest Man On Earth also bounds up the chart by 13 places after debuting last week. He's back home in Sweden right now touring, but he'll bounce back to the U.S. for one big gig at
Red Rocks in Colorado on Aug. 28 with the Head and the Heart, who slipped 17 places!

Dinosaur Jr. are the second highest entry at No.10 with a song from their album that released last week. Apparently J.Mascis and Lou Barlow, the two songwriters in the band, still don't speak to each other despite a prolonged reunion on the road and their "return to form" LP. J. does have time for Kurt Vile though, with whom he chatted about fave guitar riffs with in Rolling Stone.

Shovels and Rope are also new this week at No.12. They start their tour in Jackson Hole and Red Rocks next weekend and hit First Avenue on Oct. 5.

No.15 Weezer will play The Current's big Music-on-a-Stick show at the Minnesota State Fair on Saturday, Sept 3. Rivers and company do a good job capturing rock 'n' roll backstage shenanigans of a veteran band on their website.

We made a special edit of one of the longer tracks from Ray LaMontagne's Ouroboros album, new at No.16 this week. In the past he has been known for moody out bursts on stage and difficult interviews, but in this video talking about the making of the album with Jim James from My Morning Jacket, he seems to be in a whole new place of peace.
