We were joined in the studio this week by The Posies, a power pop group formed in 1987 and still rocking it almost 30 years later.

Power pop is a style of pop music characterized by a strong melody line, heavy use of guitars, and simple rhythm. Basically, think lots of harmonies, lots of guitar, and catchy/memorable hooks.
