On Thursday, Oct. 13, the official Prince tribute concert takes place at the Xcel Energy Center, but we'll be celebrating Prince all day long: on air, online and in person. Here's what we've got planned:

Prince A to Z on Local Current
Starting Thursday at 10 a.m., we'll launch a 26-hour, A to Z Prince Marathon on our Local Current stream. Local Current can be heard on our website as well as on the MPR Radio app for iOS and Android devices — and on 89.3 HD2 in the Twin Cities metro area.

Say 'hello' to The Current outside the Xcel Energy Center
Look for your friends from The Current tent between gates 1 and 2 at the Xcel Energy Center pre-concert street party. Host Sean McPherson will do live check-ins at 4:30, 5:30 and 6:30 p.m.

Follow live coverage on social media
At 7 p.m., the doors open at the Xcel Energy Center. Watch for live coverage on social media, including from @localCurrent, @SlingshotAnnie and @TheCurrent on Twitter, plus @thecurrent on Instagram, and be sure to add TheCurrentSnaps on Snapchat.

Transmission goes all Prince
At 10 p.m., Transmission host Jake Rudh parties like it's 1999 with an all-Prince show. Listen to Transmission on The Current — 89.3 in the Twin Cities, 88.7 in Rochester, 90.9 in Duluth and on other frequencies around the state — and everywhere online.

Post-concert review
After 11 p.m., our Andrea Swensson will write a recap and review of the official Prince tribute concert; watch for that right here on our website — and be sure to listen to Oake & Riley in the Morning on Friday, Oct. 14, at 9 a.m., when Andrea joins Brian and Jill to share her thoughts about the concert.

You can also find the latest coverage about Paisley Park, and about other Prince-related news and events on our Local Current blog.

Other activities around the Cities
The Twin Cities were Prince's home, his creative muse and his playground. Be sure to check out this roundup of other Prince-related activities happening in the Twin Cities and surrounding communities during the big Prince celebration.
