As we head into the weekend before Halloween, we've been "raising your spirits" with eerie Coffee Break themes. On Wednesday, we did songs about ghosts and spirits; yesterday, we covered witches, magic and potions.

Today, we're conjuring a veritable rogues' gallery of creepy critters by inviting monsters, goblins, ghouls and vampires to this Halloween party. It may seen improbable, but there are definitely songs sprinkled throughout popular music history that reference these scary entities. It's a good thing it's the morning, because you may not want to hear some of these songs in the dark!

So for today's 9:30 Coffee Break, what songs do you want to hear that mention monsters, goblins, ghouls or vampires? Send us your requests.

David Bowie - Scary Monsters (And Super Creeps)
