After spending five weeks at the top with the first single off 22, A Million, Bon Iver is back at No.1 for the final week of the year. Only one artist gained more No.1 spots, to be revealed next week on the Top 20 No.1's Chart Show!

Great to end the year with the top three all being "local!" Hippo Campus are inducted into the Hall of Fame for the fifth time. They've already sold out one First Avenue show in March so you might want to grab tickets for the second on Sunday, March 12!

Milwaukee music fans are celebrating one of their own doing well, too: Nicholas Sanborn.
As one half of Sylvan Esso with Amelia Meath, now based in North Carolina, the duo performed on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon this week and are inducted to our Hall of Fame for the very first time.

Car Seat Headrest are inducted for the second time with another song from their well-reviewed Teens of Denial. It made my end of year list and their session was another fave. We need to know what artists, songs, videos and live performances blew you away this year so we can compile our Top 89 countdown. Deadline is Christmas at midnight!

Another from my list of best albums of the year is the highest new entry this week, Margaret Glaspy. She'll be playing a bunch of shows opening for the Lumineers next year, including Jan. 19 at Target Center.

Band of Horses bounce back at No.16 with another track from an album influenced by Minneapolis. Earlier in the year I played a dedication to Ben of the band and his wife, as they met here 10 years ago. Watch the band perform live in The Current studio.

Joseph have been yo-yoing on and off the chart for the last six weeks, but they're back at No.18 and they'll be back in town to celebrate our 12th Birthday next year. Tickets are still available for both nights!

Bishop Briggs stunned a few of our staff with her talent and composure at another of our in-studios this year. Now she has just gotten props from the Australian Rolling Stone and is new for the first time at No.20;

Happy Holidays, everyone!! I'll be doing two special shifts: Christmas Eve from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. CT playing festive tunes and 2 to 6 p.m. on Boxing Day (the day after Xmas) so send an email and I'll give your celebrating posse a shout out!
