On January 22, 1967, Minnesota Public Radio went on air.

Though The Current is only turning 12 this year, MPR is turning 50 years old on Sunday, and we want to celebrate with you. Thanks to jeremy messersmith for joining us today to debut his new song, "Little Blue World", created to commemorate 50 years of MPR.
