Childish Gambino has two firsts this week, just in time, too: his first No.1 and his first Hall of Fame induction. He was on the BBC on Friday talking about Star Wars and his role in the movie franchise, winning at the Emmy Awards and more.

Submit your Chart Show ballot this week for a chance to win front row tickets to Patti Smith and Her Band's sold out performance of Horses at Northrop on Wednesday, March 8!

Japandroids were a close second as they played First Avenue on Tuesday night with Craig Finn opening the show. They recorded a Theft of the Dial with me before the show, and we'll debut that next Tuesday, Feb. 21 in the 7 o'clock hour.

Frank Ocean is also inducted, for the second time, and seems to be the big winner from Sunday's Grammy Awards. And he wasn't even there, boycotting the organization! A previously unseen interview with him was leaked onto Twitter the following day then disappeared.

Glass Animals are the highest new entry with another song from How to Be a Human Being at No.5. They just announced more U.S. tour dates in July including their fave place in the world to play — Red Rocks in Colorand — but no Twin Cities date yet. Meanwhile they're catching some sun in Australia where they just visited Triple J and performed a version of Gnarls Barkley's "Crazy."

Marian Hill are also back on at No.14 with the first song from their forthcoming album. No details of an extensive tour yet, but surely they will play a bigger venue next time around. They played the first of The Current's #MicroShow series last year!

Magnetic Fields are new at No.19 ahead of their special two-night stand at the Fitzgerald Theater celebrating MPR's 50th Anniversary.

Craig Finn slips into the basement spot this week. He stopped by The Current to perform in-studio and to chat with Looch before opening for Japandroids at First Avenue. His new album We All Want the Same Things drops March 24.

Bon Iver had the biggest fall on the chart this week. Last week's No.1, surprisingly down 12 places!? Was it perhaps because of the Eaux Claires lineup announcement?
