As The Chart Show moved to Thursday to accommodate special programming on The Current for International Women's Day, it's appropriate that we have band led by women at No.1! Lucius recently appeared on A Prairie Home Companion in St. Paul, and the night before the show the band performed a #MicroShow for The Current listeners in the rotunda of the Minnesota State Capitol, a wonderfully unique experience for all.

Submit your Chart Show ballot this week for a chance to win tickets to Green Day at the Xcel Energy Center on Saturday, April 1, 2017!

Dead Man Winter are inducted to the Hall of Fame for the first time, though Dave Simonett's other band, Trampled By Turtles, have been inducted six times. If you're wondering what other members of TBT are up to, Erik Berry is playing with his buddy Marc Gartman of Two Many Banjos in a project called Lazylightning420. They'll be playing a 1980 Grateful Dead concert tonight at the Turf Club and up in Duluth at the Red Herring on March 15.

Ty Segall is also inducted to the Hall of Fame for the first time. He just started a U.S. tour and the The Daily Emerald from Eugene, OR gives you a pretty good idea of what to expect from the live show: 15 minute jam sessions and a cover of the Kinks?!

Aimee Mann makes her debut on the chart, as it's been over five years since her last solo album. The new album, titled Mental Illness will release March 31, and she'll play the Fitzgerald Theater on May 3. Cold War Kids also make a debut this week with a track off their album out next month.

Rory Graham is the man behind Rag'n'Bone Man (the Old English phrase used to denote a "recycling technician"). Jade uncovers his roots, both musical (jazz and the blues) and geographical (a town called Uckfield in the U.K.) in her Album of the Week review.

Laura Marling's Semper Femina will be The Current's Album of the Week next week. She sat down for an interview and session this week on New Hot.

The xx took a tumble of 10 places this week but maybe their new video for "Say Something Loving" will give them a boost.
