On Thursday, March 23, Jason Isbell released a video for the song "Hope The High Road"; the track is the lead single from the forthcoming album, The Nashville Sound, scheduled for release on June 16.

The Nashville Sound is from Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, the first album released under the full band name since 2011's Here We Rest. Since that time, Isbell released two albums under his own name: 2013's critically acclaimed Southeastern and 2015's Grammy Award-winning (for Best Americana Album) Something More Than Free.

"Hope The High Road" features rocking guitars and assertive vocals reminiscent of the soaring chorus in Isbell's song "Flying Over Water," off Southeastern. The video for "Hope The High Road" features studio footage and subtitled lyrics, allowing fans to dive right in to singing along.
