Liam Robinson and Jean Rohe knew each other — at arm's length — both in college and in the musical community they hung out in, but they never actually sang together until one afternoon in Liam's kitchen. There, the two classically trained musicians started singing folk tunes together and knew instantly there was something magical about their blend: a unique combination of old-time mountain folk and mid-Twentieth Century jazz … at least that's how I would begin to describe it.

Since then, Robinson and Rohe have combined their skills, and now their lives, in a musical and spiritual partnership which has resulted in their debut album, Hunger.

Robinson and Rohe brought their magic to the Radio Heartland studio.
