Arcade Fire rise to the top this week as they make their way towards us for the Xcel Energy Center show on Sunday. Don't forget to get there early for openers The Breeders and if you are one of the AF faithful, expected to be impressed. Let's hope they do the in-the-round experience they used recently in San Francisco.

St. Vincent climbs six places to #5 this week and we're going deeper on the new Masseduction as our Album of the Week. Jade says, "it's an art-pop attempt to seduce."

The Killers are inducted to our Chart Show Hall of Fame for the first time and appropriately, "received like rock gods!" at the inaugural Lost Lake Festival in Arizona this weekend.

LCD Soundsystem are inducted for the fourth time, putting them up to #28 on our All Time Hall Of Fame Chart. They'll be at Roy Wilkins on November 9th. Prepare to "get euphoric" as they did down in Nashville at the weekend.

First Aid Kit are back as the highest new entry, with a song written in sunny California last spring, when they weren't feeling very sunny inside. You can see their rainy day video for the song here and peruse their tour dates, January 30, 2018 they'll be at The Palace.

Alice Merton is the biggest upward mover, eight places to #12 and she's making waves on the Billboard charts too, where she told the story of her nomadic past which led to the song.

The XX return at #16 this week, and they, along with several other artists on our chart will play All Points East, a new festival in London put together by the same team that does Coachella.

Jason Isbell creeps back into the basement space, just in time for Halloween, with a song about...Vampires! Brian Oake has chosen it as his DJ Pick of the Week, saying, "it's rare that a song about true love can leave you feeling so empty and sad."

And if you want to get into the mood of Halloween, or provide the soundtrack for your party this weekend, Rock The Cradle has gone creepy, crawly and cringe-worthy until November 5!

Submit your Chart Show ballot this week for a chance to win a pair of passes to Wilco at the Palace Theatre!
