A new song from our Rock The Garden headliner is in the basement space of the chart this week. Tune in April 10 at 9am for a run down of the full line up and another chance for you to get tickets.

David Byrne holds on to the #19 spot ahead of his "American Utopia" release this Friday. He's generating his own bad news to draw attention to the album, apologizing for not having any female collaborators!

Returning after a one week hiatus is Jade Bird, who went to the UK's Brit School and recently covered a track by Dua Lipa who was the talk of the recent Brits Awards show, winning Best Solo and Breakthrough Artist categories.

Highest new entry, after only being out for 2 weeks, is Janelle Monae's new jam. She was a big part of the Oscar party scene last weekend in Los Angeles fronting her 'Fem The Future' organization, which seeks to create opportunities in the arts for women and those who identify as such.

Highest mover up the chart is Lissie, bouncing back from her fall last week down to #20. Her new 'Castles' comes out on March 23rd, when she'll be in London to start her world tour. Local fans were lucky to see her at the small shows she played recently at Icehouse, there's NOT another Twin Cities date on her long itinerary.

Greta Van Fleet were also getting some buzz coming out of Oscar weekend. They jammed with Sir Elton John at his big soiree, "They blew me away," gushed Elton, "they have an amazing future ahead of them!"

The Decemberists couldn't quite dislodge First Aid Kit but continues to climb to #2. Their new album "I'll Be Your Girl" drops next week and they've already sold out one night at The Palace Theater and have added another on April 7.

Staying at the top for three weeks makes "Fireworks" song of the year so far! The 'Ruins' album is out now. First Aid Kit are starting their world tour in Europe and only have 6 dates scheduled so far for the USA including Bonnaroo June 9 and Red Rocks in Colorado June 14.

Submit your Chart Show ballot this week for a chance to win a pair of passes to Dan Auerbach & The Easy Eye Sound Revue at the Palace Theatre on April 3, 2018!
