Brianna Kocka performs in the Radio Heartland studio

Brianna Kocka has been performing around the Twin Cities with different bands for a while now, but her new solo album, Dreamlife, marks a turn in a different direction musically.
The collection of seven songs are based on some big life changes for the songwriter, leading her down a path of self-discovery and sadness. But through these songs of loss and reflection there is real beauty through her voice and the care she put into writing and arranging these songs.
The album release show is Friday, May 4th at Icehouse in Minneapolis. In advance of that show, Brianna and her band stopped into the Radio Heartland studio to play some songs and talk about the creation of Dreamlife.
