A record number of votes this week as people were doubly excited about the ticket giveaway. Trampled by Turtles... in Duluth!? Well that was the end of Childish Gambino's 3 week reign at the top, will it re-commence next week? Meanwhile, if you weren't lucky enough to win the trip to Bayfront on July 7th, remember: Music On A Stick August 25th, where Trampled by Turtles will headline with Lord Huron and Lissie!

There are four previous Rock The Garden bands on our chart this week, one of them the biggest upward mover. The Decemberists are currently on a big tour of the country which has taken its toll on Colin Meloy's voice. They've had to cancel and re-schedule several shows this week to allow him to rest it. So we're kinda glad that their 2009 headlining spot is this year being occupied by Father John Misty, down to #8. His new 'God's Favourite Customer' is our Album of the Week, and we hope his blasphemy won't hurt us too much. It is supposed to be 90 degrees on Saturday!

Chance The Rapper is also a RTG alum, he even danced in our mascot costume?! He was entertaining Chicagoan High School kids on Monday night and brought out his friend Danny Glover aka Childish Gambino to do a version of our #2 song.

Highest new entry is another from Jack White who continues to pick up keys to the city wherever he goes! Last week it was Cincinnati, home of the legendary King Records, which according to a plaque there, "... forever changed American Music. With stars from James Brown to The Stanley Brothers and its innovative, integrated business model."

Mason Jennings jumps in this week at #11 with a song from his recent 'Songs From When We Met' album. Last month when it came out and he played at The Cedar he talked with The Morning Show about its origins.

Gorillaz have crept into the basement space, with the first single from the new album, out June 29th, "The Now Now" (not to be confused with the local band with the same name!). They just started an extensive world tour which only comes to Chicago Oct 16th. You can get a taste of how they reproduce their sound without all their collaborators in attendance thanks to The Irish Times who were at the Dublin gig last weekend.

Other Chart denizens who are coming closer to our area soon are Greta Van Fleet and Janelle Monae, both on July 3rd. And Margo Price this weekend for the massive Blue Ox Festival in Wisconsin, with Pert Near Sandstone, Charlie Parr and many more.
