This week, I'm talking to my friend, Bill DeVille, about the Americana Music Association's festival and conference, happening this week in Nashville, Tenn., from Sept. 11 to 14.

It's Bill's sixth time going to Nashville, and he says he really likes it there. And this year, in addition to attending the Honors and Awards ceremony, countless concerts and some industry panels, Bill gets to host his own event at Diskin Cider, featuring performances from the likes of Amanda Shires, Tommy Emmanuel, Mary Gauthier and even Minnesotans Erik Koskinen and Pert Near Sandstone.

Watch our full conversation to hear more from Bill — and to hear his story about meeting Robert Plant over some tacos.
