This week's schedule
October leaps into high gear right away with a week that's chock full of new performances from artists such as The National, Nick Lowe and Los Straitjackets, Lukas Nelson, Kacey Musgraves, Phosphorescent, Cat Power, Arctic Monkeys, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats and many others. And if that's not enough, capping the week is the premiere of season 44 of the PBS music mainstay Austin City Limits, featuring an hourlong set by St. Vincent.
Meanwhile, with the upcoming release of the 2018 rendition of the film, A Star Is Born, Lady Gaga will appear on several shows; performances by Lady Gaga of music from the film will likely feature, although some may strictly be interviews. And on Sunday night, before the newsletter went out or the web feature was published, Paul McCartney was interviewed on 60 Minutes.
