Hippo Campus are the new #1 this week as they continue their national tour with a sold out show in Washington DC tonight! They have two booked at The Palace November 23 and 24.

Courtney Barnett is inducted to our Chart Hall of Fame for the tenth time putting her at Number 3 on the All Time Hall of Fame Chart behind The Black Keys and Arcade Fire. She was on Seth Meyers Monday.

Atmosphere are the highest new entry this week with a track from their new album that features Cashinova, The Lioness, and Dem Atlas, who is about to embark on a new journey with his debut.

Making it another strong showing for local artists, Chastity Brown is the highest riser, up seven places to #13 with her new single. She'll be playing a show at The Cedar Cultural Center November 15.

Leon Bridges is new again at #15 with the 3rd song from his album to chart this year. Surely it's a contender for Album of the Year... yes we need to start making those lists! He's also playing the role of the great Gil Scott-Heron, in a new movie with Ryan Gosling.

New at #16 is another track from Cat Power's strongly reviewed 'Wanderer' album which came out earlier this month.

A new discovery from New Zealand The Beths debut in the basement space. They're on a huge tour of Europe right now and will not be back in the States until SXSW in Austin TX next year.

And if you dig the Big Red Machine, at #17, then you might wanna keep an eye out for a special giveaway next week.

Submit your Chart Show ballot this week for a chance to The Current's Elvis Costello and The Impersonators giveaway at the Northrop at The University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN on November 15, 2018!
