This week, Mary Lucia recommends a new Netflix documentary that explores the 1970 meeting at the White House between President Richard Nixon and Johnny Cash.

Cash was seen as a personality who could appeal to President Nixon's base, and while Cash was certainly a patriotic person who had served his country in the U.S. Air Force, he was also conflicted about the Vietnam War and had never been very political publicly. The result is a fascinating look at a moment in history through the lens of music.
