A serial burglar was caught this week after escaping from the Hennepin County jail in downtown Minneapolis.

Early Wednesday morning, he broke an upper floor window of the jail and then ran across the top of a skyway to a parking ramp and somehow ended up in the St. Paul suburb of Little Canada three hours later, where he was arrested by federal authorities.
