Annie Fitzgerald performs in the Radio Heartland studio

Local singer-songwriter Annie Fitzgerald was in our studio this week to play some songs from her most recent album, You and Me and The Sun. Annie wrote the songs on the album from multiple emotional places in her life: from the post-partum depression she experienced after the birth of her son, to the joy of being a mother and finding her place in the music world.
The album hit record-store shelves almost a year ago this spring, but it took this long for our schedules to line up so we could do this studio session. But like my mom used to say, "All good things take time" (and she was always right). Annie Fitzgerald brought in her excellent band to perform for us in the Radio Heartland studio. She was also kind enough to share a music-video premiere with us; you can watch that below.
